This site is quite simple, it contains no Flash (pun intended) - Flash technology has become a popular method for adding animation and interactivity to web pages, something that I personally, can mostly do without. As a result this site should be fast to load and reliable. I have avoided 'flashy' bits and bobs - firstly because I find them irritating when I browse and secondly because I don't know how to do them anyway!

I do use JavaScript. JavaScript is a Netscape-developed object scripting language used in millions of web pages worldwide. Without JavaScript enabled the buttons and the pop-ups won't work but this technology has been around for years and most current browsers should have no problems - here is a Google page telling you how to enable JavaScript in your browser (if it isn't already enabled).

I have utilised pop-ups (small windows that err pop up) for Recording, Reviews, Contact, and Gigs and various other pages. The idea is that you can get to the information you require without having to lose your place. Pop-ups are sometimes disabled in browsers because unscrupulous webmasters have started to use them to try to sell you Viagra whilst you're reading quantum theory - and very irritating it is too. Your browser should tell you if it's blocking my pop-ups (oo-er) and you should be able alter the setting in order to allow them for this site whilst still excluding them elsewhere - I promise not to offer you Viagra in any way, shape or form.
